Bluehole Studio’s debut title, TERA, is still my personal favourite when it comes to graphics and textures. I have seen developers butchered powerful engines such as CryEngine 3 and Unreal Engine 3, but in this case it did not happen.
Earlier today, the Korean studio posted a recruitment advertisement on its website, seeking programmers to join its new development team, working on a next-generation MMORPG. It was also stated, along with several Korean news outlets, that it will be a full-fledged sequel to TERA.
Do note that no one mentioned “TERA 2”, just simply stating the new title as a sequel to TERA. TERA players should not be really worried, since the game will be at least 5 years away according to AAA development trends.
