Korean developer Jandisoft today announced the start of the Final Alpha test for its maiden cross-platform MMORPG, Mad World, taking place for 7 days starting from May 25th, 2022. Mad World is 2D hack-and-slash MMORPG built upon extremely dark and gritty game lore.
Jandisoft is touting Mad World as having character/background designs that feel sensible yet fresh, 2D art style using hand-drawing technique, and a highly flexible growth/combat system. Mad World is built using an in-house HTML5 engine, meaning Mad World can be played across multiple platforms at the same time, including consoles, browsers, mobile, making it a true “multi-platform” game.
Final Alpha is highlighted by a total of 14 new contents: instance dungeon, scenario map, 3 bosses, and elite bosses. After the PC version of Mad World is released, the game is slated to launch on mobile and console platforms. Stay tuned for updates!
