Earlier this year, we mentioned about Korean gaming giant Netmarble acquiring an indie team of developers (TeamSoulEve) working on Overprime, a game which is crafted using the assets of the Unreal Engine 4 MOBA, Paragon, which Epic Games stopped working on. This is legal by the way, as Epic Games gracefully allowed all Paragon assets to be used for free. Today, Netmarble revealed a new cinematic trailer for Overprime!
Overprime is Netmarble’s first 3D third person shooter (TPS) MOBA for the Windows PC. To summarize, Overprime combines a 3D 3rd-person shooter with the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre, bringing the best of both worlds together on beautiful, sci-fi inspired battlefields. Taking on one of five roles in 5:5 combat, players will engage in strategic and cooperative play to claim victory. Stay tuned for more updates!
