If you did not know, Nexon GT is a result of a merger back in 2014 between 2 Nexon subsidiaries, Nextoric (TalesWeaver, Ever Planet) and GameHi (Dekaron, Sudden Attack). To be honest, we have not heard of any ground-breaking product from Nexon GT since then, other than the short-lived Sudden Attack 2, Fantasy War Tactics, and developing Titanfall Online (Korea exclusive). This is about to change, hopefully, with the announcement of Project D.
Sudden Attack has been the top online FPS in South Korea, and it seems that Nexon GT is using that experience for Project D. The PC-only online TPS (third person shooter) is described as having 8 unique playable agents to choose from, where players take part in 5 vs 5 battles “constantly changing battle environment.” Nexon, the parent company, has already confirmed a global publishing deal for Project D as well. Stay tuned for updates!
