Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds launched a couple of weeks ago in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, and we recently took a quick tour of this highly-anticipated mobile MMORPG. Based on the popular Ni no Kuni console game series owned by Japanese studio Level-5, Netmarble has done an awesome job crafting out this beautiful world on the mobile platform. The global launch is expected to take place in 2022.
To be honest, an hour is too little for us to truly talk about Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds as there are so many dialogues and cutscenes, both essential features in this story-driven mobile title. The combat is really cookie-cutter at the start, and there are quite a number of different items to gacha which sent out some warning signs. We also did not manage to try out any parts of the kingdom management system. Stay tuned for its global launch!
