According to reports from the Korean media, Smilegate RPG announced a massive 448% increase in sales revenue for the year of 2019 (compared to 2018) due to the success of its PC MMORPG, Lost Ark. The sum comes to around USD 65 million, while net income is about USD 2.4 million. Do note that Smilegate RPG is a studio subsidiary of the bigger Smilegate Holdings. Employee salary for 2019 is around USD 22 million, up 17.2% from 2018 as Smilegate RPG ramps up on the development of Lost Ark Mobile using Unreal Engine 4.
