Netmarble today announced TERA Origin, touted as a “completely new” mobile MMORPG developed specifically for the Japanese market. This “new” game is developed by Squall, an internal team at Krafton (formerly Bluehole) which made TERA M. If you did not know, TERA M did very poorly in South Korea. There is currently no launch date for TERA Origin, and its tagline is “the world starts from zero.” Netmarble apparently has no plans to launch TERA Origin for the Western market as its next big flagship is Blade & Soul Revolution.
