[Pre-register now] Activision Blizzard today announced the start of the pre-registration phase for its upcoming mobile military shooter, Call of Duty Mobile, in collaboration with development partner Tencent Games. Powered using the Unity engine, this is just one of the various mobile versions of Call of Duty revealed, as several are still in development. Call of Duty Mobile will go through several beta test phases before an official launch.
According to official details, Call of Duty Mobile “is a new free-to-play game that brings together the maps, weapons and characters from across the Call of Duty series in the definitive first-person action experience on mobile.” The game does not fit into the main series’ canon, although modes such as Team Deathmatch and Frontline are all available with more teased to be in the works.
