Earlier today, Square Enix announced the formation of Luminous Studios, an in-house development unit led by Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV. Perhaps named based on the Luminous Engine which Final Fantasy XV was developed from, the studio is working on a brand new AAA game based on a new IP. Sharing the same spot as Square Enix HQ, there is a fixed daily work duration of 7.5 hours to promote a healthier lifestyle.
