[Steam page] Developed by South Korean indie studio, Morenori Soft, Islet Online is a sandbox game which recently got approved on Steam Greenlight by the community. While an online game at its core, Islet Online will feature a single-player mode as well. The world of Islet Online is all up to how players act, be it building, crafting, gathering, hunting, and even PVP. Not bad for a small studio.
Similar to most voxel-based sandbox games, players will need to farm for materials to build structures, hunt animals for food, plant their own crops and more. All these actions will affect the ecosystem. For example, if players hunt too many rabbits and pigs, wolves will die due to the lack of food. However, the army of herbivore will then consume all the greens, leaving a wasteland behind.
Show above is the crafting system. While it may seem monotonous at first, there are actually secret and hidden crafting recipes out there waiting for players to discover. Players are encouraged to be creative through disassembling and experimenting different materials, and work around the basic recipes. Sounds pretty awesome eh? Head on to the Steam page or Facebook page for more details!
