I recently read some misguiding news regarding the situation about TERA and Kritika in South Korea being shut down in South Korea. It is public knowledge that Hangame, the current publisher, is looking to shed off PC games. The company will simply not renew the game contracts when they expire early next year. From early reports, it seems Kritika will be self-hosted by developer All-M.
As for TERA, there is currently no confirmation, but developer Bluehole Studio will be pushing out a “Season 2” update for the Korean server soon, teasing new levels to Phantom Tower/ Dreadspire, and more solo content. Kingdom Under Fire II never launched in South Korea, but developer Blueside recently got millions of investment money from China-based private equity firm JD Capital.
