Co-developed by Japanese studios Cygames and CyDesignation, it was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2015 that Granblue Fantasy will be arriving on English shores in March 2016. The game features over 100 characters, with 4 basic classes and more advanced ones. Each will have his or her unique skills, and also the ability to call upon “Crystal Beasts”, just like summons in Final Fantasy.
It was also announced Granblue Fantasy will be getting its own manga series starting this November. Finally, Cygames and CyDesignation will be working with animation studios, Aniplex and A-1 Pictures (Blue Exorcist, Working!!!, Nanatsu no Taizai), to produce the anime series for Granblue Fantasy. More details on the anime will be revealed on Tokyo Game Show’s final day (20 September).
