Announced back in 2011, Soul Worker was always looking to be the anime action online game everyone was waiting for. Since then, news about the game dropped sparingly, with only the contract signing to Japan and Taiwan the most eye-catching news. Today, publisher Hangame announced Soul Worker will launch in Japan first later this year, with more info coming in a few days.
Hangame stated Soul Worker will “start service” this September, but I guess it is only the start of Closed Beta. Closed Beta registration will start along with a new website this week, with only 999 slots available for this “World Premier Test”. Korean developer Lion Games had been busy customizing and localizing Soul Worker for Japan, I cannot wait to see what the new version looks like.
