Having been in the beta phase for several months, including tournaments with top eSports teams participating, developer Turbine announced Infinite Crisis will be shutting down on August 14, 2015. The short notice also mentioned that all development has ended as of now. No reason was given, but perhaps the players will find a home in Heroes of the Storm. I am smelling a huge layoff coming.
