According to South Korean publisher Actoz Games, 150,000 applications were received to enter the Closed Beta phase of Final Fantasy XIV, where only 25,000 slots were available. The last gaming region to have Final Fantasy XIV localized, it seems interest is high despite Actoz Games sticking to the monthly subscription model upon launch. Closed Beta begins 11 June and ends on 14 June.
