After a couple of beta test phases, Capcom announced recently that Dragon’s Dogma Online will officially launch in Japan on 31 August, with headstart access beginning on 27 August for those who pre-order the Limited Edition. Spanning three platforms (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC Windows), players with different devices will get to enjoy cross-platform action along with each other.
The Limited Edition for Dragon’s Dogma Online will also nab players special equipment, though it is unclear what stats they have. All three platforms will have differences in terms of graphics, which can be seen in the charts below. PlayStation 3 is obviously losing out, but still very much playable. There is currently no word for an English launch, but do read my previous posts about the game!
