Recently, a teaser game website under China developer Shanda Games popped up online, with a countdown timer set for next Monday and a silhouette of Borderland’s iconic robot, Claptrap. The tagline roughly translates to “Earthlings, we shall bring hope to you all.” Is this really Borderlands Online, rumored to be a China-exclusive online shooter? Hmn…
Taking a further look into the teaser website’s coding, two logos for 2K Games, the publisher for Borderlands, were spotted. They have yet to appear, and I am guessing they will be activated once the countdown timer stops. The URL now contains “blol”, and I can’t wait to see if it is a bluff to throw gamers off their investigations. Stay tuned for updates!
