[Game website] Blizzard Entertainment sprung a little surprise over at BlizzCon 2014 by announcing a brand new IP, Overwatch, which appeared in a recent trademark filing. Overwatch is an online team-based shooter, with several heroes (or characters) with unique abilities to choose from.
The 4 standard archetypes are here, and the heroes are categorized under either Offense, Defense, Tank or Support. Pretty standard stuff, with only 2 modes currently announced, Payload (escort payload to delivery point) and Point Capture (take control over points). Beta will begin next year.
