Entering Closed Beta 1 last week, Master X Master is NCsoft’s first self-developed MOBA title. Combining characters from NCsoft’s own game series (Blade & Soul, Lineage, Aion etc) and newly designed heroes, the main feature here is the ability to switch between 2 characters (tag system).
Featuring various PvE and PvP modes (AI as well), I must say Master X Master seems pretty uninspired with some pretty familiar-looking character designs found in other MOBA titles. With that said, the maps look easy enough to understand almost immediately for the MOBA gamers.
As mentioned in my previous post, Master X Master will not be showcased by NCsoft at G-Star 2014 this November due to ongoing development. It remains to be seen if this game will be launched in the Western market, but I guess NCsoft got to release the much delayed Blade & Soul first.
