[Beta register] Obsidian Entertainment and My.com released a new video today, along with screenshots that detail one of Armored Warfare’s most chilling maps, Cold Strike. Cold Strike is a distinct winter map with blizzards, decreased visibility and muddy roads, as seen in the trailer below.
These conditions are not ideal for heavily armored tanks and require players to choose their tactics carefully. The level is 1.2 square kilometers in size and includes a city, suburbs, a river, a train station and more, all in the shadow a snowy castle. Fighting in the snow can be visually stunning.
Here, vehicles leave tracks behind and their dark silhouettes can become a perfect target for the enemy. Helicopters and fighter craft buzz through the skies, and the wet winter weather creates a chilling atmosphere – a leaden sky blends in with grey houses and dirty street. Signup for beta now!
