XLGAMES, developer of ArcheAge, announced that its 2nd online title, Civilization Online, will enter its first Closed Beta phase from 27th May till 1st June 2014. Crafted using CryEngine and with support from 2K Games, Civilization Online is currently targeted at the Asian market.
Other than knowing this version is somewhat simplified in terms of gameplay while preserving the series’ unique features while adding new ones. There are 4 civilizations players can choose to start with, including China, Rome, Egypt and Aztec. More info can be found here.
