[Source] After a very successful petition campaign aided by mass outcry in Russian gaming forums and websites, ArcheAge’s Russian publisher Mail.ru has decided to back down from the controversial business model. Instead, community feedback is now sought after, with 3 options currently given.
The options given include: 1. Refine the current business model; 2. Use the same F2P model found in ArcheAge Korea; 3. Use both models at the same time. I am glad to see a major publisher doing this, but then again, I believe this was what should have been done in the first place…
