[Game website] First announced for the North America market a couple of weeks back, Strife was teased for the China market as well. It was revealed recently the China publisher will be YY Inc, well-known in China for its communication platform, YY.
This is supposedly be YY Inc’s first attempt at publishing a client MMO, and the company stated that the YY platform gives Strife a competitive edge when it comes to communications for the game.
Touted as “The premier second generation Free-to-Play MOBA”, Strife’s main aim is to reduce the toxicity found in most MOBA titles. What it means is to make sure teammates are not slurring each other, but working together instead.
Of course, there will be mechanics to make this happen, such as shared resources and rewards based on community feedback. There will be pets, crafting and more, so stay tuned to the official website!
