Nexon recently announced an investment made in a new development studio, Shiver Entertainment, which is being led by former Zynga and Electronic Arts COO John Schappert. While the investment amount is not disclosed, Shiver Entertainment will focus on making free-to-play games for the PC and mobile devices.
Shiver Entertainment is currently hiring for its studio, based in Miami, Florida. Nexon has been investing in several North America studios recently, including SecretNewCo, Rumble Entertainment and Robotoki, in a bid to attract more North America gamers using locally-developed titles.
