Closed Beta for Devilian started yesterday in Korea, which means I am late on the news. Developed by Ginno Games and published by Hangame, Devilian is somewhat seen as the Free-to-Play version of Diablo III. It is not necessarily a bad thing, given that Diablo III managed to piss many fans off.
There are currently 3 playable classes, with more in development. Combat is fast-paced and action oriented, with regular movements needed to avoid some major attacks from mobs and bosses. Skill animations are no doubt flashy, which I am really attracted to.
PvP is currently being prepared as well, although it is not the regular type gamers expect. Characters are changed into “devils” here, fighting in 2 different teams and scoring points through killing and several other objectives.
