Announced just earlier this year, Korean developer XLGAMES announced the closure of ArcheVille, which will happen on 10th October. A standalone mobile game with farming and pet features, ArcheVille was planned to be integrated with the core ArcheAge game via a gift transfer system.
This announcement came amidst a Korean report posted just days ago, where an internal re-structuring of XLGAMES is rumored to happen soon due to falling short of the projected financial expectations. There remains light at the end of the tunnel, as ArcheAge China has yet to launch.
