It seems like there are gamers who were fairly amused by 1 of Perfect World China’s latest MMORPG, Holy King, after being announced 2 weeks ago. Crafted using the in-house Echo Engine, more visuals were released for the interesting “swallow” system.
In the game, players can literally swallow anything, in the process gaining different abilities, such as transforming into the tower which was just consumed. Some bonuses are permanent.
Other stuff includes plants, dead players’ souls, monsters, bosses and more. Seen in the trailer are some of the bonuses which can be acquired, such as a temporary guardian or even becoming a giant.
Talking about giants, there will be several BAMs (big ass monsters) in Holy King as well. Although the playable classes have yet to be announced, there will be a Mystic Summoner class which will be able to summon pets of the same size.
What about the other classes? Well, some (if not all, unconfirmed) of the classes are able to construct giant weapons or structures to attack these BAMs. Many details are still a blur right now, including the requirements for swallowing stuff, so stay tuned for more information.
