President of Sony Online Entertainment, John Smedley, recently posted an image related to the company’s next sandbox MMORPG, EverQuest Next. While nothing groundbreaking is teased, it shows how detailed the game will eventually be.
EverQuest Next (a working title I am sure) will be officially revealed at SOE Live, which is held in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, from 1st to 4th August . What will the new generation of sandbox MMORPG look like? A somewhat newbie in the genre, I am intrigued.
