It seems like every major MMORPG developer in China is working on a “next-gen” martial arts title currently, and Tencent Games is certainly not satisfied with just Blade & Soul. The Magic Sword Online (天涯明月刀) is the company’s upcoming trump card, and rightfully so.
Based on the novel by Gu Long, The Magic Sword Online is being crafted by a new in-house engine, Quicksilver, which Nvidia worked on as well. Yes, it is a collaboration between Tencent and Nvidia, which is certainly something which caught the eyes of the industry watchers.
