Attending a China event hosted by media website 17173.com, the president of Neople, Mr Shinchul Kang, talked about how he didn’t expect the China server of Dungeon & Fighter to last 5 years. He thanks publisher Tencent Games for aiding in the localization process, and even brought some of the ideas back to the Korean server.
He casually talked about a potential sequel, Dungeon & Fighter 2, and confirmed that Neople will be developing a sequel in the future. Due to Dungeon & Fighter’s popularity and high hopes from the gamers, Neople will be using all its resources to make sure it is a success.
Dungeon & Fighter 2 is currently in the process of early conceptualization, debating on whether to embrace 3D graphics or sticking with the current 2D format. Neople is also developing Ghost in the Shell Online right now.
