Developed by China’s Kufeng Studio, Emblem Saga will be entering its Focus Group Test (FGT) starting today in Korea, published by Mgame. The China server has yet to announce anything since its last Closed Beta test back in December 2012.
While there are 9 basic class types to choose from, a couple still in development, some of them are locked according to the race chosen . There are a total of 3 factions (2 warring, 1 neutral), each having 2 races. Further into the game, players can begin collecting heros, which are divided into the 9 classes as well.
Players can collect more heroes via quests, and can change into any of them during gameplay to suit different situations. Each special hero has its own skills and abilities, along with a passive which will be granted to all heroes in the stable. For a short period, they can be summoned as a separate entity as well, like a pet mercenary.
Overall, Emblem Saga seems like a very interesting game fused together using the templates of MOBA titles and traditional open world MMOs.
