While the Western markets of North America and Europe were missing in the previous list, they have since been added in an announcement by China developer, Linekong. I am talking about the company’s latest MMO, Daybreak, an action MMORPG.
Other than those, even more regions were added, with Daybreak seemingly ready for a global expansion later this year. Most of the publishers remain unnamed, but I do have some intel… That is a piece of news for another day ๐
Daybreak is sort of a Dragon Nest “clone”, which I have played during the Closed Beta phase. Think of it as Dragon Nest, a little less action, but tons more features at launch. And not to forget, a plugin allowing gameplay from web browsers as well, connecting to the client servers.
A new flying feature was teased, which strikingly bears resemblance to Aion’s. The wings are not just for movement speed or being pretty, but aerial combat is being developed as well.
Even though there are open field maps, I doubt aerial combat will happen there, more in dungeons and PvP instances. Of course, nothing is confirmed right now.
