[Source] While there were several reports in the past about developer Ubisoft heading towards the online gaming scene in a big way, the list of websites of their IPs with an “online” at the back really surprised me. Yes, Ubisoft apparently registered these domains a couple of days back. Well, it is not to say these games are really “online” or in production, but it is nonetheless an interesting find.
A search on Ubisoft’s career page (link) reveals tons of MMO-related positions. And oh, the rumor about “Assassins’ Creed Online” is still lingering in my head. The company’s first major shot at online gaming, Ghost Recon Online (link), is currently accepting Beta registration and will make an appearance on Nintendo’s Wii U later this year.
