Priston Tale 2 – Game closure confirmed

According to foreign reports, Priston Tale 2 Korea will be closing its servers come 30th August 2012 bringing a run of around 5 years to an end. Some reasons given include the game lacking competitiveness in the saturated MMO market, dwindling player numbers and of course, inability to add anything new to the game itself.
 
Update: As of January 2012, Priston Tale 2 Korea has been taken off Yedang’s list of products.
 

Priston Tale 2 was always in the shadows of the highly popular prequel, Priston Tale, and it should be the first game I know where the sequel shuts down first. The Europe English server can be found here (link), while the North American server never took off (link).
