[Game website] Who would have thought Aion will be going Free to Play in just a couple of years after launch? Well, NCsoft apparently took note of the benefits of such a business model, and hence Aion Europe will be the first regional server to go Free to Play. TO celebrate the event, 2 new trailers were posted.
Aion North American will follow suit this Spring (link), and the cash shop looks slightly similar to what F2P Lineage II is offering now. It is hard not to give the paying players just a slight edge, hence I hope this practice will be carried out as more cash items are being rolled out in the future.
