NCsoft, the biggest gaming company in Korea, has just took part in the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) and supplied edible rice to poor students and their families in Cambodia through the School Feeding Program. The country has a serious hunger problem, with most people not able to get enough food for daily consumption and dying of hunger.
Working with a large number of schools, the aim was to make sure the children are motivated to receive proper education without having to starve. NCsoft has also recently formed a Social Responsibility task-force, with this group using NCsoft’s massive finances to promote international philanthropy and to expand the company’s social responsibility activities.
