Well, this short “review” is certainly not from me, but based on a “veteran” MMO player in China. Going by the nickname of DemonFlame, the 18 year old Beijing native has been playing MMOs for nearly 10 years. His dad was also said to be a core member of a big MMO company in the country (duh, 99% chance he is from Perfect World) and his grandfather was also a game developer. Let us hear what he has to say about Forsaken World so far!
Partying is key
– DF says that partying is the key to success in Forsaken World as most of the higher level quests cannot be completed alone. And with various fights and instances needing actual strategies and tactics, thos ewho enjoy partying and traiing in a group will enjoy the game most.
Play hard, train smart
– DF says that upon reaching a certain level, players will soon find that using the macro training system to kill mobs will only give them around 5% of the experience bar for half a day’s work and equipments will be red (needing repairs). At higher levels, using the macro system to grind on mobs will result in leveling only once in a month!
Quests are everywhere
– DF says that in Forsaken World, quests are always readily available even at the most isolated corners and almost impossible to run out of them. Normal quests, equipment quests, pet quests, hourly quests… Take your pick!
Join a guild!
– DF says that the guild function will be the major feature in Forsaken World. Guild quests, guild mounts, guild base and many other guild benefits will only enhance the gameplay experience for players.
