If you do not know, LOCO actually stands for Land of Chaos Online, and in my opinion, a very nicely designed 3D MMO with some similar mechanics to the hit Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) from Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft 3. LOCO’s very first English version has recently gone into the commercial phase, with the publisher being European company, Alaplaya. Alaplaya’s LOCO will be servicing North America and many parts of Europe.
According to foreign reports, LOCO will see a few more different regional servers very soon. The rights for LOCO has been signed for countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Russia. If you are confused, below is a breakdown:
1. Korea
2. Japan
3. North America and 37 European countries
4. Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand (coming soon)
5. Russia (coming soon)
LOCO will be available in a total of an estimated 57 countries in the near future. Personally, I will advise players to be prepared for IP blocks, even though IP banning has not been confirmed.
