From the creators of Gunz Online and the in-development Gunz 2, Maiet Entertainment, comes a new action MMORPG, RaiderZ. The title was originally known as Project H and has been in development for the past 4years. The publisher will be Neowiz (through its gaming portal, Pmang) and its slated for Open Beta testing in the first quarter of 2011 in Korea. The gaming engine used is Maiet Entertainment’s self designed engine, Real Space 3.
RaiderZ will allow players to explore the monster infested planet of Velix and fight for survival. The game will adopt a non-targeting system, meaning there will be no “tab-select” or “point and click”. Why the name RaiderZ? One of the main reasons is that players will get to raid huge bosses, or Epic Monsters in the game in massive, large-scale battles.
Monsters in the game will not drop equipments or gold, as the developers want players to trade between themselves for materials to craft their own items. The NPCs will be selling very limited items as well. Personally, I am quite skeptical about this, but we shall see.
There will also be no class system, and players will be able to access over 350 kills to customize their characters. Yes, even heavily armored characters will be able to throw a fireball!
More information will available in due time.
