Nvidia recently posted the first official video of their new upcoming GPU card, Nvidia GTX 480. Its the company’s first Fermi-based card. From what I read, it only overpowers the 6 month old ATI Radeon HD 5870 by a little, based on benchmark results. Nvidia is adamant that GTX 480’s tesselation performance will be superior compared to any other GPU cards on the market, but it really depends if consumers will be attracted.
The Nvidia GTX 480 is scheduled to hit the market at the end of this month. Have a look at the video below and judge for yourself. By the way, the Unigine Engine used was posted by me before.
