Nexon – Gaming giant invests in Hyper Universe developer

Nexon today announced a strategic investment in Korean developer CWAVESOFT Inc, giving the gaming giant preferred negotiation rights for the developer’s next 3 games. Both companies are now working on Hyper Universe which is now on Steam for its Early Access phase, with a global Free-to-Play launch scheduled early next year. Nexon did not divulge the size of the investment made. We have been playing Hyper Universe regularly over the past month, and it makes a great casual game! The Early Access costs just USD 15.99.
