Last year, Square Enix entered the competitive and PC games market in Japan by releasing a few games, including the now-defunct Gunslinger Stratos: Reloaded. Today, the developer announced the closure of Lord of Vermilion: Arena on 17 June, just a year after launch. Featuring characters from the popular Lord of Vermilion series, it seemed the revenue was not enough to sustain the game.
