Capcom recently announced a major update arriving for its Japan-only MMORPG, Dragon’s Dogma Online. Season 2, roughly translated as “Spirit Dragon King”, will arrive on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC systems on 30 June. The theme for Season 2 revolves around the term “侵食”, which basically means “encroach”. As you can see from the trailer, the monsters are infected by evil magic.
Players will face the new threat at a new location, which has yet to be revealed. Who is behind the cause of this monster unrest? There will be several updates over Season 2, and players will have to wait to find out the answers. Pre-purchase of the Limited Edition expansion packs will also nab players various in-game bonus items. Dragon’s Dogma Online is scheduled to launch in Taiwan next year.
