After being in several different tests over the past year in China, including an extended period of non-wipe phases, ArcheAge has finally entered Open Beta last week. Publisher Tencent Games was adamant the game will only be “officially launched” after the introduction of localized game content, which happened with a new dungeon with Chinese designs ropughly translated as “Court of Feasts”.
For the music of this “Court of Feasts” dungeon, XLGAMES and Tencent worked together to pen 2 different songs, which were performed by SNH48, the Chian sister group of AKB48. There are 4 unique bosses here, which can be seen below. Other than “Court of Feasts”, new features added in the Open Beta version include the Nation system, Ayanad Library, level cap to 55, new skills, and more!
