Announced back in November 2015, Korean developer Pearl Abyss will be upgrading the graphics of Black Desert Online using the YEBIS software created by Japan-based Silicon Studio. YEBIS was also used in popular console games such as Dark Souls III and Bloodborne. Pearl Abyss will apply YEBIS’ graphic effects to do a full-scale graphic remastering. The video only shows a small part of the project.
