Unless you are living under a rock, you would have noticed how popular the single-handed mobile shooter Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is. In fact, according to Sensor Tower, the game has earned over USD 66 million in revenue since its global launch!
According to the Korean media, the immense success prompted publisher Tencent Games (Level Infinite is its global gaming brand) to purchase 20% of its Korean developer SHIFT UP, becoming the second largest shareholder after founder Hyung-tae Kim (54%). If you did not already know, Hyung-tae Kim is the famous artist behind Blade & Soul.
