[Kickstarter page] Previously using CryEngine 3, City of Titans was switched to Unreal Engine back in March this year. This is a project initiated by the community after NCsoft unceremoniously closed down City of Heroes and City of Villains, and there is genuine progress shown over the past year.
As mentioned, City of Titans is an online game with a superhero theme developed in the spirit of City of Heroes. The game will be Buy-to-Play with a cash shop (similar to Guild Wars 2), although there will be a VIP subscription as well at launch.
