If you have not read about this game, Hunter Blade is a MMORPG developed by a China studio. The game has had its conflict with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Online, but apparently nothing was made of out the claims. While Monster Hunter Online is a P2P game, Hunter Blade will be F2P with a cash shop. I’m guessing this game will eventually have a English server. Let’s just wait and see.

Here’s a brief background of the game’s storyline:
Four thousand years ago, the continent of Nankada suddenly came under siege by an enormous, unknown monster. The continent was almost wiped out of living things, even the strongest human tribe, Chi Jia (direct translation), along with their advanced technology and cultures, was not spared.
However, there were a handful of the tribe’s people who somehow escaped this catastrophe and started hunting for a living in order to rebuild their once glorious tribe. While other survivors from outside the tribe tried to hunt for a living too, it was soon discovered that the natural instincts of the wild was only blessed upon the real Chi Jia descendants. Hence, the tribe;s survivors was tasked with the duty to protect and hunt for the remaining humans on the continent. Their new living area was named “Land of Dawn” to symbolize the rising of a new chapter. Soon, the hunters ventured out, only to find the horrifying monsters which awaits them…
In Hunter Blade, players can choose between these few weapons, each having its own unique profile.
Great Sword – The great sword allows players to do massive area of effect damage, but it has very low attack speed. Players are advised to finish off opponents in only a few hits. This weapon is very useful against mobs with low attack speed too.
Spear – The spear also allows players to do area of effect damage with moderate attack speed. Its the easiest weapon to master. Players will also b allowed to store energy and release killer moves.
One handed sword – Players will have enhanced defense when using this weapon, being able to block most of any creature’s attacks. The sword will only strike when the creature is tired from its relentless and unfruitful attacks.
Twin swords – The weapon with the fastest attack speed and also the closest melee range.
