Introduced in the OB26 update, Dynamic Duo is Free Fire MAX’s partnership system that lets you team up with another player and earn exclusive rewards as your bond grows. By playing matches together and exchanging gifts, you’ll increase your Intimacy Level and unlock unique cosmetics, vouchers, and other items.
Here’s everything you need to know about Golden Vow, Intimacy Levels, and the rewards available through the Dynamic Duo system.
Free Fire MAX Golden Vow: Invitation to Intimacy
Golden Vow is the item required to create a Dynamic Duo partnership. You can buy it from the in-game store for 100 diamonds 💎. However, it’s also possible to get it for free through Luck Royale, i.e., from special event boxes 🎲. After sending a Golden Vow, your chosen partner has eight hours to accept the invitation.
If the invitation expires or is declined, the Golden Vow is automatically returned to your inventory, allowing you to send it to another player without purchasing a new one. But if they accept, you establish an “intimacy bond”, and playing matches together and trading gifts keeps this bond constantly strengthening.
As your bond strengthens, you level up, and each level offers special rewards for both of you. A newly created partnership cannot be dissolved during the first 24 hours. After that, either player can send a dissolution request. If the other player accepts (or doesn’t respond within 48 hours) the partnership ends automatically. There’s one exception: removing your partner from your friends list immediately ends the partnership.
Whether you terminated the partnership by mutual consent or automatically, you cannot get your Golden Vow back. If you want to form a new bond with a new partner, you need to repurchase this item (or find it again in loot boxes).
Raising Your Intimacy Level
Increasing your Intimacy Level simply requires earning Intimacy Points. Once you reach the required number of points, your partnership automatically advances to the next level. There are currently two primary ways to earn Intimacy Points:
- Playing matches together. You earn points for every match you play as a team. You can earn a maximum of 100 points per week, and this limit resets every Monday.
- Exchanging gifts. You can also earn points by exchanging gifts with your partner without any daily/weekly limit.
Also, on your partnership anniversary, all Intimacy Points earned from matches and gifts are doubled.
Intimacy Levels & Rewards
There are currently 5 intimacy levels in total, and multiple rewards await you at each. We’ll share a list of them below, but keep in mind that some rewards (especially badges) may vary depending on the region.

Although the system technically ends at level 5, you can continue accumulating points to obtain some extra bonus cosmetics. However, the content of these can vary depending on the current events or version, meaning they aren’t a fixed list.
The Name Change Card and Exclusive Costume Bundle are generally considered the most valuable rewards. Many players create Dynamic Duo partnerships specifically to unlock these items. The bundle almost always contains a high-tier set; many players form partnerships just to obtain it.
Some players are only after the Name Change Card: since it’s easier to obtain, they continue the partnership until they unlock the card, then terminate it by mutual agreement. This gives them the opportunity to form a new partnership and obtain an additional card. Many players have managed to accumulate numerous cards this way.
Tips, Tricks, Common Issues
- Clash Squad is your best option for earning points through matches. While other modes (like regular battle royale) take an average of 15-20 minutes, you can complete Clash Squad in 7-10 minutes, maybe even less. You earn 8 intimacy points per match, meaning you can reach your weekly limit after only 1.5-2 hours of gameplay.
- Gift exchanges have no weekly limit, and every gift grants the same 10 Intimacy Points. Sending inexpensive gifts is therefore the most efficient way to level up quickly.
- Remember that you need to play together (in the same squad or duo) to earn points through matches. If you’re in a game mode that doesn’t allow this, you won’t earn points. Also, if your partner disconnects just before the match starts, you won’t earn points.
- Be careful who you send Golden Vow to, as there’s no “cancel” button. If you send it accidentally, you’ll have to wait for the other party to reject it or for the 8-hour period to expire.
