In its quarterly financial report Q&A session held recently, Korean developer Pearl Abyss confirmed that Crimson Desert will be unofficially at Gamescom 2022. Rather than having a public booth, selected global game partners will be invited to a private event to “verify the game quality.” Hence, this event is only limited to game officials. Pearl Abyss also mentioned that manpower has been shifted to focus more on Crimson Desert and DokeV, with progress on Plan 8 to be discussed “in the near future.”
ICYMI, Plan 8 is being worked on by a team which includes the co-creator of CounterStrike, Minh “Gooseman” Le. Pearl Abyss also denied commenting on Black Clover Mobile, instead stating that subsidiary VIC Game Studios will make its own announcements regarding the game. Stay tuned for more updates!
